So how does it all work?
Basically, you select a theme, date, time, number of guests etc. on the signup page and we will get in touch to discuss details. Once we have confirmed our availability and agreed the budget for wine, etc. we will send you a payment request for 50% of the overall cost of the wine and service. Once this has been paid, we will send you the booking confirmation. Payment of the balance is due 24 hours before the event.
OK, then what?
We turn up at your venue with the wine, glasses, tasting sheets... and of course our expertise! Sit back relax, enjoy a fun night learning about and drinking wine! What could be better?
Is there anything we need to do?
We do ask that you provide water and water glasses. Also, some plain white bread or crackers just to cleanse palates between the wines.
Sounds great, but what if I don't know the first thing about wine?
Absolutely not a problem, there is no requirement to have any knowledge of wine or previously wine tasting experiences. Our 'classes' are fun and informal, it's not a competition, there's no exam, it's about having a great night in with friends/family tasting wine and, hopefully, learning a thing or two about the stuff along the way.
We're really interested, but there's only two of us. Can you still offer us the service?
Again, absolutely not a problem. We can provide the same service, but the minimum spend would be for 4 persons.
What about if there's a large group of us, can you do it?
Sure, although we find that once you get above 10 people it gets a little chaotic and less personal. Larger groups work if it's in a venue rather than a home environment. So do contact us so we can discuss your requirements.
Can I request specific wines?
Of course. Whilst we structure our events to cover key grape regions, styles, varietals, we love input from you to ensure you have the best night possible. Upon receiving your booking enquiry we contact you with our proposed wines for the budget at which time you can adjust accordingly.
